The Story Behind it...

The two of us, Jaelin Lopez and Emma Zamora, are two seniors from Veteran's Memorial High School. We came up with the idea behind this community service project upon seeing how real and cruel it can be in the foster care systems and systems similar to it.  Usually, there's issues with overcrowding in facilities like these, meaning they encounter problems such as running low on materials and necessities. Such as clothing, food, and school supplies.

A way we can help alleviate some issues they may face is by providing these organizations with materials they may need, which is exactly how we came up with this idea. As economic status plays a huge part in the development of children, the only way for us to directly aid the children impacted is by supplying them with needed materials so they can forge their own academic life.

Our main goal is to bring awareness to the community, and to provide school supplies to children that are in tough situations, so that they can use schools as an outlet to pave the way towards a better life.
